OYACUT Privacy policy

Terms of use

Last updated 30 October 2026

In short

1. These terms

Oyacut (oyacut.com) is run by Oyacut Technologies Limited, a company registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission (RC 9959718). By using Oyacut you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Oyacut.

2. What Oyacut does

Oyacut is an AI video editor: you upload clips and say what you want, and it cuts a finished video with captions, music and effects. The cut, the captions and the post text are made by AI and can contain mistakes, such as a misheard word. Watch each video and read its text before you post it.

3. Your account

4. Your videos

5. What you may not do

You must have the right to everything you upload, including the footage, music, logos and the people who appear in it. Do not use Oyacut to make or share anything that:

Do not try to get around the limits on free videos, reach other people's accounts or files, overload or break the service, or copy it with automated tools. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and remove the content involved.

6. Music

Music Oyacut adds comes from its own library, which leaves out tracks whose licence asks for a credit line. If you add your own music, you must have the right to use it. Social media apps run their own checks on music, and we cannot promise how they will treat a video.

7. Free and paid videos

8. Keeping your files

When a video's card has had no activity for 14 days, its clips, photos and finished videos are removed to save space. Download your finished videos and keep your own copies of your clips. Oyacut is not a backup service.

9. Changes and availability

We keep improving Oyacut, so features can change, and the service can sometimes be slow or unavailable. We may stop offering Oyacut; if we do, we will tell you in advance so you can download your videos, and refund any paid videos or pass time you have not used.

10. Our responsibility

Oyacut is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost income, lost followers or a video taken down by a social media app, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid Oyacut in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Nigerian law that cannot be taken away by agreement.

11. Ending

You can stop using Oyacut at any time, and ask us to delete your account by writing to support@oyacut.com.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes go to the courts of Nigeria.

13. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we update the date at the top. If a change matters for you, we will tell you before it applies.
